04 — About Marr Floor
Ryan and Lauren Marr have been finishing concrete on Colorado’s Western Slope since 2023. Every floor we install is one we walked, ground, and topcoated ourselves.
A family operation
No subs. No surprises.
We answer our own phone. We measure the slab ourselves, write our own bids, and run the grinder ourselves. The same two people who quote your floor are the two people who finish it.
Ryan handles prep and grind. Lauren runs the topcoats and finish work. We bid every floor together, install every floor together, and stand behind every floor together — for fifteen years on materials and labor.

How we work
Four habits.
Walk it.
Every bid starts with a site visit. Moisture, flatness, cracks, use case — we measure and listen.
Grind it.
Diamond-grind to spec. Vacuum-contained dust. The right profile is the difference between a floor that lasts and one that fails.
Finish it.
The owners run the topcoat. We don’t hand off the part of the job that everyone sees.
Stand by it.
Fifteen years on materials and labor. We re-inspect at thirty days and at one year.
A short history
Three years, one shop.
2023
YEAR ONE
Ryan and Lauren leave the trades to start Marr Floor. First job: a 600 sf garage in Fruita. We still have the photos.
2024
YEAR TWO
A waitlist forms. Word of mouth carries us. We add a second grinder, second dust collector, and our first commercial install.
2025
YEAR THREE
We move to the current shop, expand into polished concrete and stain & seal, and pick up a small fleet of trailers so we can run two installs in parallel — without ever splitting a job between crews.
2026
PRESENT
Four hundred and twelve floors in. Still answering our own phone.
